I am so excited for you that you have the opportunity to walk the Camino :) I was a pilgrim in 2010, and it was absolutely one of the best experiences of my life! Definitely bring less than you think you need, you will be happy to have a lighter pack and there is plenty of opportunity to buy anything you need. Also, this probably goes without saying, but talk to as many people as you can and keep a journal of all your conversations and anything that happens. Looking back, I really wish I had done this! Because even though it’s not new years, it’s always a good time to reflect. I will be more open with my emotions and my heart. I will communicate how I’m feeling, when I’m feeling it. And I won’t live a passive life. I think I knew this better at 16 than I do at 21. Le sigh. Live and (re)learn
